Salio
Overview
The project focused on designing a comprehensive website for a multi-purpose resort located in central Poland, combining hospitality, leisure, equestrian facilities, gastronomy, wellness, and business event spaces. Originally rooted in horse riding, the resort has evolved into a year-round destination for both families and corporate clients, offering hotel accommodation, a restaurant, brewery, SPA, conference facilities, and venues for events such as weddings and communions. The website structure reflects this diversity through clearly separated service areas, supported by multilingual functionality and a prominent booking system integrated into the top navigation.
Outcome
The final website presents the resort as a unified destination that combines its equestrian heritage with a wide-ranging hospitality and events offer. The homepage hero features a background video that immediately establishes atmosphere, scale, and the natural surroundings of the property. A key UX element is the integrated booking calendar placed directly within the hero section, allowing users to quickly check availability and begin the reservation process without navigating away. Below the hero, news and offers are presented in a structured layout to support engagement and keep users informed.
A defining visual feature of the website is the use of three rounded emblem-style icons representing the resort’s core pillars: horse riding, restaurant, and hotel. These elements are consistently integrated throughout the homepage sections, helping users quickly understand the structure of the offer while reinforcing brand identity through repetition and visual rhythm.
The visual language combines warm brown tones, elegant typography, and high-quality photography, often presented in full-width sections to emphasise atmosphere and premium character. This creates a cohesive experience that connects the resort’s natural environment with its broader hospitality offering. Overall, the website balances emotional storytelling with functional clarity, guiding users from inspiration through to booking in a smooth and intuitive flow.
